3VS1 leading the LEAD proposal to SPRING May 2009
Mr. Terence Zou and Mr. Seetoh Weihan are currently representing 3VS1 in leading the industry effort to grow the Venture Capital and Private Equity (VC/PE) industry in Singapore. They are working collaboratively with the Singapore Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (SVCA) and government agencies to draft the strategic framework and implementation details for the proposal. The funding proposal will be submitted through SPRING’s Local Enterprise and Association Development (LEAD) program. Under the LEAD program, key industry associations like SVCA, can obtain grants to defray project development costs and to fund the implementation of various initiatives. The proposal is expected to be tabled sometime in 3Q2009. |

Mr Tan addressed the audience on “3VS1 Riding the Next Wave”. The other 2 speakers were Ms Li Hwee Bin from Singapore Venture Capital & Private Equity Association and Mr Patrick Lim from SPRING Singapore.
The seminar was held at Hwa Chong Institution, engaging more than 100 guests and students in a networking session during tea reception. |
